Aircraft sales companies and brokers

772 companies across 51 countries. Updated 7 November 2026.

Aircraft sales companies help owners sell aircraft and help buyers find and acquire the right one. Most work as brokers or dealers: they value the aircraft, market it, find buyers, negotiate price and terms, and manage the deal through to closing. On the buying side, an acquisition agent shortlists aircraft, reviews logbooks and maintenance status, arranges the pre-purchase inspection and coordinates escrow, registration and delivery. Some are also authorised distributors for a manufacturer.

When choosing a broker, ask how many aircraft of your type they have sold recently, whether they represent only one side of the deal, how they set the asking price and what their commission covers.

There are 134 companies listed, most in the United Kingdom (22), Germany (12) and France (7), followed by Austria (5) and South Africa (4). Examples include:

  • Avpro, representing clients who want to buy, sell or trade business aircraft.
  • Amjet Aviation, selling business aircraft since 1976.
  • Action Aviation, handling business aircraft sales, management and charter since 2004.
  • Africair, Inc., a Textron Aviation distributor since 1968.
  • Aircraft Canada, an aircraft marketplace with sales and professional appraisals.
  • ACASS, offering aircraft sales and acquisitions alongside management and crew staffing.

Most purchases also involve aircraft financing, aircraft insurance and a pre-buy inspection by an aircraft maintenance shop. For a shortlist of UK brokers, see the best UK aircraft sales companies, and read why buyers and lenders sometimes skip aircraft appraisals before you agree a price.
