DIAG Aviation GmbH

DIAG Aviation GmbH is a German aviation company based in Foehren, near Trier. It was founded in 1998 with a focus on private pilot training and has grown into a group covering flight training, aircraft maintenance, aircraft sales and airport operation.

Seaplane training

The flight school concentrates on the seaplane class rating (Single Engine Piston Sea) for holders of a PPL(A) or LAPL(A). Training is flown on a Piper PA-18A amphibian, with at least 8 hours of practical flying, usually over two to three days depending on weather.

Maintenance

DIAG runs an EASA Part-145 approved maintenance organisation at Zweibruecken airport, Building 360. It carries out maintenance, repair and technical support for aircraft of all classes, for private (NCC) and commercial (AOC) operators. Types it highlights:

Aircraft sales and airport

The company supports aircraft purchase and sale, registration, ferry flights, pre-purchase inspections and financing. DIAG also acquired Schwarze Heide airfield in Bottrop, which it offers as an alternative to Duesseldorf airport for business travellers and private pilots.
