AMAC Aerospace

AMAC Aerospace is a group of companies that serves corporate, VIP and VVIP aircraft owners. AMAC Aerospace AG was founded in 2007. The group has operations across Europe and a presence in Turkey, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia. Its workforce is over 1,350 employees.

The group runs eight hangars for mid size, narrow body and wide body jets. Its facilities cover a footprint of over 100,000 square metres. Its engineering team in Basel has about 100 engineers across avionics, structures, systems and certification.

Completions and refurbishment are done in Basel and at JCB Aero in Auch, near Toulouse, France. JCB Aero has 10,000 square metres of hangar space, workshops and engineering offices. The website describes JCB Aero as a cabin interiors business for fixed wing and rotor wing aircraft.

Maintenance is offered in Basel, at Istanbul Ataturk International Airport and at Bodrum Milas Airport in Turkey. The Istanbul facility provides maintenance on Pilatus PC 12, PC 24 and Dassault aircraft. The Bodrum hangar carries out commercial line and base maintenance in winter and VIP business maintenance in summer.

Engineering services include design engineering, non destructive testing, supplemental type certificate (STC) development, special mission outfitting and full completion work. AMAC is an approved CAMO, approval number CH.CAMO.7011, and provides continuing airworthiness management from Basel.

Corporate jet services in Zurich manage aircraft for owners, including crewing, fuel arrangements, fleet insurance and cost control. The aircraft management division hosts about 15 aircraft. AMAC is also the exclusive sales representative for the Pilatus PC 12 NG and PC 24 in the Middle East.

Material support is provided through GAMIT Ltd in the United Kingdom, which serves MROs, airlines and aircraft owners. The group also has an office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and a regional sales base in Beirut, Lebanon.
