Jet Air

Jet Air, Inc. is an FBO, charter and maintenance group headquartered at Galesburg Municipal Airport (KGBG) in Galesburg, Illinois. Harrel Timmons founded it as Galesburg Aviation in 1969 and renamed it Jet Air in 1989; he was inducted into the Illinois Aviation Hall of Fame in 2011. The company has grown to seven airports: Galesburg and Macomb (KMQB) and the Quad Cities (KMLI) in Illinois, and Iowa City (KIOW), Burlington (KBRL), Davenport (KDVN) and Muscatine (KMUT) in Iowa, the last three acquired from Revv Aviation in 2026.

Jet Air runs five Part 145 repair stations, at Galesburg, Iowa City, Davenport, Moline and Macomb, servicing piston, turboprop and jet aircraft. Types named are the Cessna Citation XLS, Excel, Bravo, II and ISP, King Air 90, 100 and 200 series, Cessna Conquest 425 and 441, twin Cessna 300 and 400 series, all Beechcraft Bonanza models and all Piper piston aircraft, with phase and document inspections, engine removal and reinstallation, alterations and a large parts inventory.
