Space companies and organisations

This section lists businesses and non-profits working beyond the atmosphere, or on the technology and people that get there. It covers launch vehicle operators, satellite data and imagery providers, mission control and space operations firms, radiation and engineering consultancies, and advocacy and education groups. Buyers include government agencies, satellite operators, researchers, schools and companies that use Earth observation data.

When choosing a space supplier, check its flight heritage, the licences or contracts it already holds, and whether it delivers hardware, data or analysis.

There are 13 companies listed, including two in the United Kingdom and one in the United States. Examples include:

• Saber Astronautics, running mission control centres in Colorado, Adelaide and Sydney since 2008.
• Exos Aerospace, an FAA-licensed operator of reusable rockets.
• Radiation Analysis Services Ltd (RASL), a space radiation effects consultancy.
• SkyFi, giving access to satellite imagery and geospatial analytics.
• Satlyt, a San Francisco space computing platform for satellite data processing.
• Explore Mars, a non-profit promoting Mars exploration and space workforce development.
