Air Cargo

Air cargo companies and freight forwarders

This category lists air cargo businesses: airline cargo terminals, freight forwarders, cargo agents and courier counters that book space on passenger and freighter flights for businesses and individuals. Many specialise in particular trade lanes, for example from the UK or Dubai to South Asia and Africa, and handle documents, packing and customs paperwork as well as the flight.

Air freight is usually priced per kilogram of chargeable weight, which is the greater of the actual weight and the volumetric weight, so bulky but light parcels cost more than their weight suggests. Before booking, check whether the agent is IATA-accredited, whether it holds regulated agent or known consignor status for air cargo security, and whether it can accept dangerous goods if your shipment contains batteries, chemicals or similar items.

We list 45 air cargo companies, most in Dubai (20) and the United Kingdom (15), with smaller numbers in Bulgaria (3) and Peru (2).
