Radu BalasEdited by Adrian ManPublished 4 min readEuropean Rotors 2026 runs from 30 November to 3 December at Eurexpo Lyon, and the organiser's published list has 253 exhibiting and sponsoring companies, with Airbus and Boeing among the six sponsors. The list says a lot about how the helicopter world moves between shows: 94 of the 253 companies are also on the list for VERTICON 2027 in Anaheim, the North American helicopter show in March, 42 go to the Paris Air Show in June 2027 and 30 to AERO Friedrichshafen in April. At the same time 96 of the companies are on no other show list on our calendar, so Lyon is the only place to meet them this season.
European Rotors is the annual show and safety conference for helicopters and vertical flight in Europe, owned and co-organised by the European Helicopter Association and Vertical Aviation International, with EASA holding its Rotorcraft Symposium alongside it. The symposium opens on 30 November and the exhibition runs from 1 to 3 December. The organiser reports 266 exhibitors, 5,478 visitors and 23 aircraft on display for the 2025 edition in Cologne. Full details are on our European Rotors 2026 event page.

By sector
The organiser's list does not tag exhibitors by product, so we grouped them using the categories on their pages in our directory. On that basis 60 of the companies are helicopter specialists, 50 are manufacturers, 31 are maintenance providers, 27 are in avionics, 21 in software, 16 are parts suppliers, 11 are air ambulance operators or equipment makers, 11 are flight schools, 8 are aircraft makers and 8 are in aircraft sales. Operators, lessors, insurers and mission equipment makers fill in the rest of the hall.
By country
The list covers 21 countries. By country, the United States has 48, France 18, Germany 12, the United Kingdom 11, Italy 9, Switzerland 9, Canada 6, Spain 4, Austria 3 and New Zealand 3, with Sweden, Norway, Australia, Czechia and Belgium on two each. The American contingent is unusually large for a show in France and largely explains the overlap with VERTICON. Operators from the German-speaking countries are prominent, with ADAC Heliservice (333), DRF Aviation Services (234) and DRF Akademie (836), Heli Austria (720, 839 and 841), Global Helicopter Service (683), Helikopter Air Transport (691) and Heliswiss (262).
