TRU Simulation + Training

TRU Simulation + Training builds flight simulators and training devices for business aviation, helicopter and military pilots. The company is headquartered in Tampa, Florida. It offers a full set of simulation devices with support from start to finish. It designs custom solutions for fixed wing and helicopter operations, with the aim of helping pilots perform at their best in any mission.

TRU is part of Textron Inc. Textron is the parent company behind names such as Bell, Cessna, Beechcraft, Hawker and Textron Systems. TRU serves both civil and defense customers. It develops, makes and maintains flight training solutions, from classroom training tools to flight training devices and full-motion simulators for civil and defense aircraft.

For business aviation, TRU offers the Odyssey Aura full flight simulator and the Integra Aura flight training device. The Odyssey line covers a full range of full flight simulation training solutions. TRU's full flight simulator for the Cessna Citation Ascend is now qualified, and the company links this news to FAA qualification.

For helicopters, the company offers the Odyssey Horizon full flight simulator and the Integra Horizon flight training device. Integra devices are flight training devices designed around the customer's missions. Veris is a virtual reality flight simulator offered for both business aviation and rotorcraft training.

TRU also builds simulation for military programs. These include the U.S. Navy METS T-54A, the Bell MV-75 FLRAA and the Textron Aviation Defense T-6 and AT-6.
