FlySight S.r.l. is the Flyby Group company focused on the defence and security sector, born from the group's multi-year experience in satellite remote sensing and data analytics. Headquartered at Via A. Lampredi 45, 57121 Livorno, Italy, the company designs and develops software for C4ISR systems (command, control, computers and communications for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance), with typical applications in avionics, naval and underwater domains. Its solutions use artificial intelligence, cognitive signal processing and adaptive data fusion, and interoperate with STANAG and Open Geospatial Consortium standards so that real-time processing, exploitation and dissemination can be integrated into existing architectures. OPENSIGHT

• A multi-platform PED (processing, exploitation and dissemination) system built from modular plugins, each exportable as a standalone application or library, and extensible through a software development kit
• Simultaneous GIS and 3D graphics rendering, a 3D moving map with multiple layers and real-time video-over-map projection, and geodatabase functions for direct and inverse geocoding
• Enhanced Reality System: video enhancement algorithms including equalisation, saturation, dehazing, fog suppression and super resolution, plus an augmented reality engine that overlays real-time vector data
• Automatic Target Recognition: AI networks specialised for maritime and airborne threats, with semi-automatic training database creation and continuous learning in operational scenarios
• Mission Console with a full touchscreen human-machine interface, real-time and archived mission data management, mission planning and debriefing, and an Underwater Optronic Mast Console

Activities

FlySight's stated mission is real-time improved situational awareness, mission planning and debriefing for decision support systems. The company publishes articles on search and rescue drones and on AI in maritime environments, and announced a demonstration of a direction finding and personnel locator system simulation at Global Defence Aviation 2026 from 20 to 23 October. It lists local commercial representatives in India and Malaysia and customer and partner logos including Enel, Drass, Abaco and Goma.
