European Helicopter Association

The European Helicopter Association represents the helicopter community in 13 European countries. It includes HeliOffshore, the rotorcraft community of specialists in the offshore sector. Its stated mission is to speak as the voice of the European rotorcraft industry at European institutions and elsewhere.

Members come from across the vertical lift sector. They include rotorcraft and drone operators, manufacturers, service providers and suppliers, and partner associations from several countries. New members from the wider vertical lift industry are welcome to join and share ideas for the future.

The association works on regulation and safety, on innovation and sustainability, and on data collection and communication. It also follows the development of electric, hydrogen and hybrid propulsion, which the association expects will shape the future of the vertical lift industry.

The sectors covered are broad. The association covers work in offshore operations, renewable energy, air rescue (HEMS), aerial work and firefighting. Members can network with experts across these fields and follow news and events through the association.

The EUROPEAN ROTORS show and safety conference is held in Lyon, France, with an EASA Rotorcraft Symposium on the day before the show opens. The Rotorcraft in Action series highlights the operators and crews who fly essential helicopter missions across Europe.

The association also runs a members page, a news section, a membership application page and a contact page for its membership and communications teams. Its aim is to bring the needs and views of the rotorcraft industry to regulators and lawmakers.
