Air Medical Transport

Air Medical Transport is a transport management company for fixed wing air ambulance flights. It is based in Katy, Texas. The company does not own or operate aircraft. It arranges transports with selected air ambulance operators that hold FAA Part 135 or EASA certificates.

The company was founded by a flight paramedic. The site says that person has more than 20 years of experience in prehospital medicine, air ambulance transport and international medical logistics. The site says the company's leaders have supported international fixed wing transports across five continents.

The company manages bed to bed fixed wing transports. These can be within the United States, to or from the United States, or between countries. The company also handles air ambulance repatriations. It supports special clinical populations and complex conditions. The site names patients with cancer, weakened immune systems and some serious contagious diseases as examples.

A flight coordinator specialist manages each transport from the first call through arrival. The team reviews the patient's condition, the physician's guidance and the medical support needed. It also considers the aircraft, the routing, the ground transport and the readiness of the receiving facility. The site says clinical decisions stay with the patient's treating physicians.

The site says the company works with families, hospitals, care teams, case managers, discharge planners, international patient coordinators, embassies, consulates and private pay organizations. It uses closed loop communication to keep key information confirmed and shared. Clients receive updates as transport details are confirmed.

The USA and Canada phone line is +1 800 872 6667. The international line is +1 832 872 2222. The site says the team is available 24 hours a day for time sensitive guidance. It has a quote request button and an online payment option. The site has links to Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Instagram and YouTube.
