Jonathan Group Aerospace

Jonathan Group is a North American maker of electronics packaging and motion systems. Its business units include Jonathan Engineered Solutions and Saint Louis Designs, which both serve aircraft interiors. The group has facilities across the United States.

Jonathan Engineered Solutions makes movement hardware for business and commercial aircraft cabins. The company says its solutions are among the lightest and quietest available. Its products include telescoping slide rails, extractors for galley inserts and equipment, pocket door solutions, and linear motion mechanisms for seating, monuments and stowage.

Saint Louis Designs makes hidden hardware, custom accessories and rotational mechanisms for cabin interiors. It is known for its cabinet latches and bespoke solutions. Its alloy research produced high-load latches, which are now standard on a number of interior programmes.

The group also makes electronics enclosures. Its capabilities range from complete data centre containment solutions to TEMPEST rated NEMA enclosures. These enclosures are shock and vibration qualified for ground vehicle C5ISR use.

Jonathan Group has more than 65 design and manufacturing engineers. It has over 600,000 square feet of facilities. It offers machining and fabrication, prototyping and high volume production, and says it can flex engineers between business units to support projects.
