AAR Corp. is an aviation aftermarket company headquartered in Wood Dale, near Chicago, Illinois. Its origins go back to Allen Aircraft Radio, incorporated in Chicago to supply radio equipment to early commercial aviation, and it has been based in the Chicago area since 1955. The company says it operates in more than 20 countries and is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker AIR.
