ABM International

ABM International makes industrial quilting machines in Montgomery, Texas. Its main products are CNC quilting and perforation systems. The company builds its machines in the United States. Aircraft interiors are one of several markets it serves.

The company began in 1947 as an industrial machine maker in Chicago, Illinois. It is a family business now run by the fourth generation. Over the years it has changed with its markets and added new products. Its divisions include INNOVA Quilting Systems, Necchi US home sewing and Accustitch.

ABM has grown by buying other machine makers. It acquired Gribetz, Porter, Galkin and the other assets of GSG Machinery. It then acquired Atlanta Attachment Company. That deal added 86 employees and more than 238,000 square feet of factory space. The new divisions are known as Gribetz and Atlanta Attachment Company. Its machine range includes CNC quilting machines, a CNC perforator, ROBO quilters, a vertical ROBO quilter, a bagging machine and a custom quilter. It also lists machines from Dahmen and Hashima, and the Gribetz Paragon M+. The company offers a pattern catalog and a custom pattern request service. Its corporate design team can create patterns for a customer.

The machines serve many industries. They include automotive, marine, golf carts, RVs and mattresses. In aircraft work, the machines make quilted fabrics for seating and cabin parts. The contact form lets visitors choose aircraft or helicopter as their industry, along with medical, furniture, upholstery and others.

Service is a big part of the offer. ABM lists a 24/7 support line, remote login support from engineers in the United States, regional sales reps and regional factory service technicians. It also promises next day parts from its Texas warehouse. The company gives a four year warranty on its standard industrial machines. It says it has about 80 years of quilting experience.
