About Zerolook.ai

Zerolook.ai offers a flight shopping API for the high search volumes that AI travel creates. Instead of fetching prices live, an ML model predicts them. The company says this cuts the cost of each query, in return for a small loss in accuracy. The site does not state where the company is based.

The service is built for exploratory traffic. This means browsing and comparing searches where booking-grade accuracy is not needed. The company says it helps sellers serve metasearch sites and AI travel agents in a way that works for their unit economics.

The homepage explains the look-to-book problem. Look-to-book is the ratio of searches to bookings. The site says it was 1 to 50 with travel agents and 1 to 500 with online travel agencies. It says the ratio passed 1 to 10,000 with metasearch and goes past 1 to 200,000 with AI travel agents. At these levels, computing every fare on a GDS or an airline system stops paying for itself. The page points to an IATA look-to-book white paper.

The site has two calculators. The first works out a user's own look-to-book ratio and compares the costs of direct and NDC channels, airline excess fees and GDS or aggregator fees. The second works out metasearch revenue from queries per month and the share of queries answered. The default values follow the AFKL 2024 ADM Policy, as the site states.

A contact form is available on the site.
