ABOMIS

ABOMIS builds aviation software that is designed to work on mobile devices first. Its products serve ground handlers, airlines and airports. Its tools help teams work at the counter, on the ramp and at the gate without fixed infrastructure.

CounterGO is its mobile check-in product. It moves check-in from the fixed counter to a mobile device. The company says the product brings more flexibility to check-in operations. Hallmark Aviation Services became the first ground handling company to go live with CounterGO.

The BRS product reconciles passengers with their checked bags. It uses handheld devices and wearable ring scanners worn by ramp agents. Bags are scanned as they are loaded, and the system gives real-time updates on each bag's processing history. The company also offers TAGROP for self-service bag tagging.

ABOMIS also offers a DCS departure control system, which covers check-in, boarding control, seat maps and messaging. Its CUPPS product is a common use platform. It lets several airlines share the same check-in and gate equipment on shared infrastructure.

The company has been testing self bag drop with airlines and ground handlers. In a recent project it worked with easyJet and Menzies Aviation at Palma Airport to launch a self bag drop trial. The team replaced the circular display with a rectangular screen for a new look.

ABOMIS took part in the Menzies Aviation Innovation Live event. Seven aviation technology companies pitched their ideas at the event for a chance to test their solutions in airport operations. A Menzies innovation committee will decide which solutions move on to proof of value.
