SkyVector

SkyVector is a web-based aeronautical charting and flight planning service for pilots. Founded in 2006 and based in Seattle, Washington, it combines online aeronautical maps with weather overlays, airport information and FBO listings in a single browser-based tool.

Charts and Flight Planning

  • Online aeronautical charts, including VFR sectional charts, IFR enroute low and high altitude charts, terminal area charts and world charts
  • Flight planning tools linked to the aeronautical charts
  • Weather data displayed as overlays on the charts
  • Airport information pages with an FBO directory

Other Tools

  • Retail fuel prices for jet fuel and avgas at airports and FBOs
  • Contract fuel pricing for logged-in account holders, with fuel prices that can be submitted in CSV format
  • DROTAMs: drone NOTAMs showing unmanned aircraft operating areas, which can be shown in full or filtered to those above 200 ft AGL
  • User accounts (sign-up on the site), required for features such as contract fuel prices

The service runs in a web browser and also provides links to FAA guidance on drone operations alongside its DROTAM layer.
