1200.aero is an operational data platform for airports, FBOs and flight schools. It combines several data sources into a real time view of the airport environment, including runways, ramps, gates and ground operations. The company says the platform gives actionable insights from this data.

Data sources include transponder data from ADS B, Mode S and MLAT, and ATC audio from CTAF, tower, ground, ARINC and ramp frequencies. The platform also uses flight plans and airspace flow data, camera based visual operations tracking, and ground support equipment tracking.

The live airport map shows traffic in the air and on the ground, along with live CTAF, UNICOM, tower and ground audio. It shows live operation counts, scheduled arrivals and departures, and parked aircraft.

Reports include current and historical statistics over several time periods. Topics include runway operations, critical aircraft determination, ramp and gate operations, after hours activity, year over year operations, economic impact, and FBO market share and average length of stay.

Automated alerts send summary notifications for daily and monthly operations and for inbound flights. They also report aviation safety events such as near mid air collisions and in flight emergencies. The system finds based aircraft from overnight stays and tracks their last known location.

Users can research noise complaints by street address and define custom noise sensitive areas to measure low flying activity. For FBOs, the platform shows live ramp arrivals and departures, parking positions and ramp use. A mobile app lets staff document arriving aircraft, complete pre tow checklists and track towing.

Flight schools receive granular flight data, including taxiing and safety event notifications, along with live and archived CTAF and UNICOM audio. Movement logs and operational summaries help schools monitor student progress and fleet use. The website shows customer logos for state transport departments in North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Wyoming.
