Quiet Technology Aerospace, Inc.

Quiet Technology Aerospace, Inc. (QTA) is an aerospace company in Hollywood, Florida. It makes engineered composite and acoustic upgrade parts for aircraft nacelles. The site says its facility covers 65,000 square feet.

QTA specializes in inlet cowl and thrust reverser upgrades under FAA approved supplemental type certificates (STCs). The site says its approvals include FAA, EASA and other international civil aviation authority approvals. Its customers include OEMs, maintenance organizations, fleet operators and individual owners.

The thrust reverser door and side beam upgrade replaces the vulnerable aluminum in corroded areas with CP70 titanium parts. The site says the upgrade remanufactures the original parts. It says the work is for aircraft with Honeywell HTF7000 engines, which have a recurring corrosion problem.

The inner inlet barrel upgrade uses a one piece carbon graphite composite barrel. The site says the composite resists corrosion. It says the barrel replaces aluminum honeycomb that can trap moisture, and that the upgrade is backed by worldwide STC approvals.

The site says QTA has delivered 737 inlet cowl upgrades and 153 thrust reverser sets. The company's roots go back to hush kits, which were built to help aircraft meet noise standards.

The company offers a lifetime warranty on its products. The site says the warranty transfers with the aircraft serial number. It also says the company carries $100 million in product liability coverage. Barry Fine is chief executive. Martin Gardner is executive vice president of engineering and customer support.

The site lists a phone number, (305) 687-9808, and a contact form. The site also has a section for additional parts.
