MTW Aerospace

MTW Aerospace is a stocking supplier of aircraft parts for turbine powered aircraft. It is based in Montgomery, Alabama. The site says it was founded in 2001 and draws on more than 26 years of earlier experience in the aircraft parts business.

The parts come as new surplus, overhauled, serviceable and as-removed items. The company supports turbine and turboprop business and commuter aircraft, and helicopters. Its site has product lines for parts search, interiors, and engines and APUs. The interiors page offers complete interiors and components. Visitors can also browse the aircraft models it carries by brand. AOG parts support is offered by email and by phone on (334) 301-5815.

The company gets its stock by taking apart complete aircraft or by buying surplus inventories from OEMs, airlines and corporate maintenance depots. It mainly invests in operational aircraft as a source of parts, and it keeps all records for traceability. The facility has 45,000 square feet of climate-controlled warehouses near Montgomery Regional Airport.

On quality, every part is inspected by eye. A licensed A and P mechanic oversees aircraft disassembly and stamps the traceability tags. Each tag shows the part number, serial number, description and the aircraft it came from. Logbooks and component history are reviewed before parts go on the shelf. The company offers a 30 day money back policy on normally stocked parts and says quotes are available within minutes.

Customers named on the site include Duncan Aviation, Alpine Air Express and Precision Aero Technologies. The address is 7050 Selma Highway, and the main phone is (334) 613-2025, open Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM Central time. A vendor inquiry form is also on the site.
