Monterey Jet Center

Monterey Jet Center is a fixed base operator at Monterey Airport on the Monterey Peninsula in California. It serves private and business aircraft and their passengers and crews. The company also helps customers arrange charter flights.

The FBO offers a large site for aircraft. It has more than 200,000 square feet of hangar and office space, and the hangar can take aircraft up to the size of a DC-9. The ramp covers 10 acres and has room for aircraft up to a Boeing 767. Services include Avfuel branded fuel supply, quick turn service, aircraft cleaning and aviation maintenance on the field. Its line service is NATA Safety First certified. The airport has night noise abatement rules, and any aircraft services needed during those hours must be arranged directly with an FBO.

Planeside service is part of the offer. The FBO also gives support to military aircraft, and it welcomes pets. Customers can reach the FBO by ARINC on frequency 129.775, and they can send a reservation request online.

Passengers and crews get a range of comforts. The facility has a conference room, a pilot's lounge, a massage chair and deluxe shower facilities. A concierge, gourmet catering and a courtesy van are available. The FBO has negotiated rates for car and driver services and for crew rentals with GO Rentals. It accepts all major credit cards.

Crew amenities reach beyond the airport. They include courtesy crew cars, complimentary gym passes, loaner golf clubs, discounted aquarium tickets and discounted crew rates at Spanish Bay, Spyglass and the Del Monte Golf Course. The FBO also hands out ice cream and fresh baked cookies, and it holds customer appreciation events during the year.

Professional Pilot magazine recognised the FBO in 2022 as Best FBO and Best Independent FBO. The company says its approach reflects a culture of safety and the spirit of aviation, and that it handles jobs of any size.
