Academy Aviation

Academy Aviation Maintenance Training, known as AAMT, is the FAA-certified training company inside Academy Aviation Group. It is based in Central Florida. The company gives aircraft maintenance training to aviation professionals across the Americas and in other parts of the world.

The courses follow the FAA format and line up with ATA 104 standards. They cover both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. The company says its training reflects real maintenance work and helps people meet United States rules. Its main courses are Maintenance Initial Training, Avionics Initial Training and Line Maintenance Training.

Most of the core training is based on theory. To back this up, the company offers practical training and on-the-job training. Experienced instructors lead these sessions. They can be shaped around the needs of each client.

Clients can pick how they want to learn. Training can take place on site at the client's own facilities. Classroom courses run in Melbourne, Florida, and at partner locations. Online and virtual courses are given through Academy Aviation Online. The company can also build a course around a specific rule set or aircraft type.

AAMT says it serves business aviation professionals across North, Central and South America, and beyond. It is a member of NBAA, AAAA, STXBAA, CFBAA and SFBAA. The website lists two phone numbers and links to the company's LinkedIn and Facebook pages. Visitors can use it to learn about the courses and get in touch.
