Aviation chauffeur and airport transfer services

358 companies in 34 countries. Updated 16 October 2026.

Chauffeur companies in this category handle the ground leg of a journey: meeting passengers at the aircraft or the FBO, carrying luggage, and driving them to hotels, offices or events. Many hold airside or ramp access at business aviation terminals, so a car can wait beside a private jet rather than at the kerb. Charter brokers, flight departments, travel managers and executive assistants book most of this work.

When choosing a provider, check its licensing with the local authority (in London, for example, private hire operators are licensed by TfL), its insurance, whether it can get airside at your arrival airport, and how it tracks delayed or early flights. Fleet type matters for group travel, where a minibus or coach may suit better than several saloons.

Chauffeur services in the directory

We list 356 chauffeur and ground transport companies, most in the United Kingdom (49), the United States (28), the United Arab Emirates (20) and Australia (19).

Chauffeurs usually work alongside private jet charter companies and ground handling agents at the FBO. Our guide to how private jet chauffeur services work explains meet and greet and security, and we have city guides for chauffeurs at London's business aviation airports and VIP transfers at Le Bourget.

Chauffeurs at business aviation airports

For each airport: the companies that name it or its code on their own page, then the ones based within 30 km. Ask the company to confirm it can meet you airside or at the FBO before you book.

Chauffeurs and airport transfers: common questions

Services and airports are what each company’s own page mentions. Confirm with the company before you book.

How do I book a chauffeur for a private jet arrival?
Give the company the airport, the FBO or terminal you are using, the tail number and the expected arrival time, and ask whether the driver can meet you at the aircraft or waits at the FBO door. Airside access depends on the airport and the FBO, so the FBO usually arranges it. Most companies track the flight and adjust the pickup if you land early or late.
Which chauffeur companies serve the main business aviation airports?
74 airports on this page have at least one company: Luton (29 name it on their page), Stansted (26 name it on their page), Farnborough (15 name it on their page) have the most. Each airport card lists the companies that name the airport or its ICAO or IATA code on their own page, then the ones based within 30 km.
What is the difference between a chauffeur and a taxi transfer?
A chauffeur company books a named driver and a specific class of car in advance, usually at a fixed price, with waiting time and a meet and greet included or offered. Taxi and shuttle firms also appear on this page because many run pre-booked airport transfers; each card shows what the company's own page mentions.
How is this list put together?
Every chauffeur and ground transport company with a page on The Flying Engineer (358 on 16 October 2026). Cities come from each company's address, and services and airports from what its own page says: 157 mention private jets, FBOs or business aviation terminals. Confirm the details with the company before you book.
My company is missing or the details are wrong. What can I do?
Find your company and claim your page to correct the address, phone, airports and services and to add your logo and photos. If you are not listed yet, you can add your company from the same page.

About this list

Companies come from The Flying Engineer’s chauffeur and ground transport pages, last updated 16 October 2026. Airports are matched when a company’s page names the airport or its ICAO or IATA code, or when its address is within 30 km; FBO links appear when the FBO has its own page. Always confirm services, airport access and prices with the company directly. Header image: The Flying Engineer.
