Starlink

SpaceX satellite internet for business, commercial and government aircraft

Starlink

About Starlink

Starlink is the satellite internet service operated by SpaceX, delivering high-speed, low-latency connectivity in rural and remote places and on the move. Alongside residential and roaming plans, Starlink offers aviation connectivity for business aircraft, airlines, general aviation and government operators, with hardware now available for a range of airframes and a growing list of certifications and supported aircraft. Business aviation customers buy through authorised dealers, and aircraft manufacturers, from supersonic aircraft to helicopters and VTOL, can obtain hardware and service for their platforms.

Aviation plans

  • General Aviation Local 50 GB: for operating speeds up to 480 km/h (300 mph), with coverage over land, territorial waters and within 22 km of the coast
  • General Aviation Global 50 GB: for speeds up to 720 km/h (450 mph), with land and ocean coverage
  • Aviation Regional 25 GB: download speeds up to 250 Mbps with 25 GB of data and GPS, covering land, territorial waters and ocean within a selected region
  • Aviation Regional Unlimited: download speeds up to 500 Mbps
  • Aviation Global Unlimited: download speeds up to 1 Gbps with the Performance antenna (500 Mbps with earlier antennas), available everywhere Starlink operates and backed by a service level agreement
  • Commercial Unlimited: enhanced speeds to support streaming for every passenger, including BBJ and ACJ airframes
  • Government Unlimited: enhanced capabilities for government aircraft and special missions

Prices are listed in US dollars excluding taxes, and quoted speeds are maximums that may fall during congestion.
