Southern California Logistics Airport

Southern California Logistics Airport, often written S.C.L.A., is an airport run by the City of Victorville in California. It covers about 2,200 acres of the former George Air Force Base. The airport's main office is in Building 728 at 18374 Phantom, Victorville, California 92394.

The airport pages sit on the city website. They have sections on the airport, aircraft services, airport advantages, information for pilots, filming and leasing opportunities. An interview video from 2020 is also posted.

The site answers common questions. The aircraft at the airport are privately owned and operated, and photo requests go to ComAv Asset Management. Cutting trees in the airport housing area is not allowed. For ending the life of an aircraft, the site points to two dismantling and recycling firms, Aircraft Recycling Corporation, also named as ARC Aerospace, and ComAv Asset Management.

The airport has space to rent depending on need. Visitors are told to use the leasing section of the website to see current availability, property details and photos. The airport does not offer tours, but the city runs a bus tour called Victorville 101.

The airport team includes an airport director, an administrative manager and an operations supervisor. The operations phone line is (760) 243-1915 and there is an operations email on the page.

The city says Victorville sits between Los Angeles and Las Vegas and has about 142,000 residents. It notes that Ontario International Airport is less than an hour away.
