Permagard LLC

Permagard makes protective coatings for aircraft paint. The coatings are for both inside and outside surfaces. The company is in Miami, Florida, and says its products are handmade there from American made raw materials.

The coating goes on top of existing paint and clearcoat. The site says it forms a chemical bond called cross linking and gives a glossy, wet look. It also says the coating works on cars and boats, and the company has pages for automotive and yacht paint protection.

The company says it began in 1998 under its founder, Luc Lefebvre d'Argencé. It is ISO 9001 certified. The site lists OEM approvals from Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Dassault, Embraer, Gulfstream and Textron Aviation.

Permagard does not only sell a product. It runs a network of certified applicators. These include aircraft facilities and aircraft detailers, and the site has a page to find an installer and a page for companies that want to become one. It also lists training and certification and a maintenance program for treated surfaces.

The blog covers trade shows such as the NBAA Miami Opa Locka Regional Forum. The company is at 7046 SW 47th Street in Miami, and the phone number is 305 662 5070.
