Layover Solutions GmbH

Layover Solutions GmbH makes an online platform for airline staff. The platform helps airlines handle passengers after a flight disruption. The site describes this as irregular operations management, or IROP, for passengers. The company says it connects the people involved online and uses data to work more efficiently.

The site says airline staff can compare hotel offers in the market. Staff can then select and book hotel rooms, meals and transport. The site says this takes only seconds. The company says the platform helps staff book in line with airline criteria. It says this helps the airline get more precise bookings.

The site says disrupted passengers are told about their options for an overnight stay straight away. This helps passengers feel cared for. Airline staff can contact these passengers at any time. The company says this keeps passengers loyal after a disruption.

The company uses data driven algorithms. The site says these algorithms support airline staff at each step of a disruption. The company says the tool helps staff keep a clear head. It also says the tool helps staff make the right decision in a short time.

The site has a separate sign in for hotels and layover managers. This sign in lets them manage layovers and hotel bookings. The site also has pages for advantages, news and careers. A news section reports on the company's funding and awards.

The site reports a public grant from the Hessian State Chancellery. The grant supports a project called automation of digital layover management. The project period runs from August 2023 to July 2025. The site also says the company closed a seed round and was nominated for a digital startup award.

The contact form asks for first name, last name, email, phone, subject and a message. The site links to Instagram and LinkedIn pages. It also has a privacy policy, a legal details page and an accessibility statement.
