H3R Aviation

H3R Aviation supplies halon and halon-free fire extinguishers for aircraft, FBOs and aircraft manufacturers. The company has served the aviation market since 1995 and sells through its online store with free shipping on US orders over 200 dollars. Its extinguishers are UL listed and FAA accepted, and the company explains that dry chemical agents corrode aluminium, obscure pilot visibility and are hard to clean up, whereas its clean agents fight fire without residue.

Products

• Halon 1211 extinguishers, described as the gold standard in aviation fire suppression, in models from 1.25 lb to 17 lb
• Halotron BrX extinguishers, a globally accepted halon replacement agent, in models from 1.79 lb to 12.5 lb
• Halotron 1 extinguishers, the most widely adopted and least expensive halon alternative, in models from 1.4 lb to 15.5 lb
• Wheeled extinguishers up to 150 lb and ground support extinguishers for ramps and hangars
• Mounting options and extreme duty quick-release brackets for tight cabin installations, including door mounts
• A certificate of conformance option covering every applicable item on an order

Guidance

The site carries articles for general aviation pilots on choosing the right size of extinguisher, whether halon extinguishers can still be used, and what every GA pilot needs to know about fire protection. H3R Aviation designs its units for maximum fire-fighting power in space-saving formats that mount wherever they are needed in the cabin.

Customers

Reviews quoted on the site come from homebuilders fitting an extinguisher under the panel of a Van's RV-14, from pilots who met the team at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh and from customers praising the ordering process and customer service.
