Garsite

Garsite is a manufacturer of aircraft refueling equipment and ground service equipment. The website says the company has built refuelers and hydrant dispensers since 1952. Its equipment is in service at nearly every major U.S. airport and is used in more than 80 countries.

Garsite offers aviation refuelers from 500 gallons to 15,000 gallons, both new and refurbished. It also builds hydrant dispensers with flow rates up to 1,200 GPM, along with hydrant carts, fueling ladders, fueling skids, floating suctions, aviation fueling modules and above ground storage.

The ground service equipment line includes water and lavatory units, catering trucks, tugs and bobtails. The website says these units are available in gas or electric versions. Its bobtails can tow two to three cargo dollies or three to four baggage carts at up to 25 mph.

Garsite builds custom units and also keeps stock units for quick delivery. The website says it has the largest in-stock inventory in the industry. Custom options include safety features and custom wraps.

Progress, powered by Garsite, makes truck mounted vacuum and fuel delivery equipment for the refined fuel, heating oil and liquid waste industries. The website says Progress has built this equipment since 1922.

Customers include in-to-plane fueling and oil companies, airlines, freight distribution companies and fuel marketers. Garsite is a contract holder with GSA and DLA and has been awarded a Sourcewell contract. The website has a separate sales team for government and military inquiries.

ProFlo Industries acquired Garsite and Progress Tank in February 2024. The company runs four facilities. Manufacturing is in Kansas City, Kansas and in the free trade zone in Barranquilla, Colombia. Refurbishment centers are in Alvada, Ohio and Cocoa, Florida. The website says the company has more than 250,000 square feet and more than 500 employees.

Garsite also offers parts, service and maintenance. Its parts store is open online, and its technicians can work at customer sites or at its facilities. Service ranges from minor repairs and preventative maintenance to complete overhauls and refurbishment. As a PrimeFlight company, Garsite can also extend GSE maintenance through the PrimeFlight network.
