GAL Aerospace Corp

GAL Aerospace is a cabin interiors and modification company. It designs, engineers, manufactures, certifies and installs aircraft cabin changes for commercial operators, MROs, aircraft makers, lessors and defense programs. Its headquarters is a 42,000 square foot facility near Montreal.

Cabin interior work covers overhead bin systems and upgrades, galley modifications, lavatory design and certification, cabin monument engineering, seat modernization and premium cabin conversions. The company also does structural and composite fabrication and in-house flammability testing.

Its programs cover CRJ, E-Jet, Airbus A320, Boeing 737, Q400, and Boeing 767 and 777 aircraft. The website lists STCs across CRJ, Dash 8-400, E-Jet, Boeing 737 and Boeing 767 platforms.

AeroQuest is the company's manufacturing arm. It works from a 27,000 square foot facility in Georgia. AeroQuest builds lavatories, showers, counters, composite monuments, cabinets and custom assemblies for airlines, OEMs and MROs.

GAL AeroStaff is a services division for aerospace recruitment, aircraft transaction support, MRO labor and deployment of technical staff. Its network includes more than 35,000 aerospace professionals. Defense and special mission work is an emerging area for the company.

The company works with Transport Canada, the FAA and EASA on certification. Its website lists AS9100 Rev D and ISO 9001:2015 quality management, along with FAA repair station and Transport Canada approved organization status. It says its work covers the full lifecycle, from design and engineering through installation and post delivery support.

The company says its divisions sit under one operational structure, so programs have fewer handoffs. It also offers certification support from the first design reviews onward.
