Aerofoam Industries

Aerofoam Industries designs and manufactures aircraft seat interface components: foams, seat covers and thermoformed plastics. The company was founded in 1974 in Southern California, and its website describes everything as designed and made in one 95,000 square foot facility in Lake Elsinore. It states that it does not outsource, so foams, covers and plastics are produced under one roof.

Dress covers division

The company makes laminated covers using a solvent free dry web lamination system and its own lamination foam. It says this reduces VOC emissions and gives a wrinkle free fit. Covers are cut on Gerber and Pathfinder CNC systems and sewn on more than 85 Durkopp stations and 6 large format CNC sewing centers. Embroidery, stitching, embossing, debossing and quilting are available, and the team works with designers, seating makers and airlines from the first concept through prototypes to production.
