Bearing Inspection, Inc., known as Bii, inspects and reconditions bearings for the aerospace industry. It works on ball and roller bearings from jet engines, gearboxes and auxiliary power units. The company has an office at 4422 Corporate Center Drive in Los Alamitos, California.

Bii was founded in 1955 in Huntington Park, California. It started as a bearing inspection facility and began repair work in 1960. The company says it is commonly seen as the founder of the modern reconditioning process for turbine engine bearings. Its Level 2 Reconditioning Process takes each bearing apart, replaces parts and inspects it again.

The company says it inspects and reconditions more than 30,000 main engine, gearbox and APU bearings each year, on more than 80 platforms. It states a five working day turnaround for established approvals. If a bearing is not on the capability list, its engineers can help build a custom repair process.

Approvals grew over the years. Bii obtained FAA repair certification for all anti-friction aircraft bearings. It received Pratt and Whitney approval for JT8 engine bearing reconditioning and General Electric approval for CF6 engine bearing reconditioning. It also received JAA approval. Today the site lists certificates from CAAC, EASA, the FAA and the UK CAA, along with ISO 9001:2015 and FAA operational specifications.
