45 North Helicopters

45 North Helicopters is a helicopter company with bases in Traverse City, Michigan and Miami, Florida. The site says its fleet is based in both places. It offers tours, charters, surveys, electrical and pipeline patrols, and helicopter sales and management. Its flights are operated under an FAA part 135 certificate.

Charter flights are a main service. The site says the company flies private charters from November to May in South Florida. Its fleet includes Bell 407 and AS 350 helicopters. The Bell 407 seats six passengers. The site says the flights avoid traffic and long airport lines.

The company sells luxury tours. The site lists a 30 minute tour for $1,750, a 45 minute tour for $2,250 and a 60 minute tour for $3,000. Each tour carries up to six passengers. A limited time color tour on a Bell 407GXP included champagne and premium headsets.

Aerial photography and video work runs out of Miami and Traverse City. The company runs two aircraft for this work. Utility work includes power line and gas line patrols. The site says these helicopters help keep utility costs down.

The site lists maintenance and sales services. It names an ARGUS Gold rating, a Cessna Authorized Service Facility, a TBM Daher Authorized Service Center and an Authorized Garmin Dealer. It says the company has more than 25 years of experience serving the aviation industry. Its sales work covers buying, selling, operating and maintaining helicopters.
