AEROSENS

AEROSENS builds tools that track assets and automate inspections using Bluetooth Low Energy tags. It is based in Miami, Florida, and structured data on the site gives 2018 as its start year. It serves both commercial aviation and defense logistics from one shared platform.

For airlines, the product is AeroCMS. It is an aircraft cabin management platform that turns safety checks, security sweeps, tamper monitoring and cabin logbooks into digital records. Crews use BLE tags and a phone or tablet. For defense and government users, the product is AeroISU. It digitally seals, unseals and monitors containers and other equipment in transit.

The company says its tags need no fixed readers and no single-use tags, and use the global 2.4 GHz band. The tags are made through a partnership with HEICO. The site says the work builds on FAA-certified sensor technology and patented inspection steps.

Funding named on the site includes a National Science Foundation SBIR Phase I award, AFWERX Phase I and II contracts and an AFWERX TACFI award. Partners named for AeroISU are Tawazun Council, HEICO and Boeing. The company says it has had input from airlines and aerospace investors, including Boeing.

The founding team has a CEO who worked at Airbus, a CTO who worked at Emirates and a co-founder who retired as president of Airbus Latin America and Caribbean. The address is 7120 SW 47th St, Miami.
