Airbus Tech

Technical skill is one of the biggest contributors to flight safety. Modern aircraft are complex and type training is short, so learning the systems is a large task, and it needs steady study and regular revision.

Flight crews have awkward schedules, family and social commitments and uneven sleep, so many cannot set aside the time to refresh what they know about their aircraft. Easy access to the material when they are on the move is a second problem.

About Project Airbus Tech

Project Airbus Tech, or PAT, is an Airbus A320 project. It lists the most common A320 technical questions and their answers, covering all the aircraft systems. The answers were cross checked by experienced A320 line crew. If anything here conflicts with your FCOM, the FCOM wins.
