The Flying Engineer was more than a writer or journalist. He also built devices and systems for aviation. This page listed some of those technical activities.
- General Aviation Flight Simulator: a Cessna 172 based flight simulator built for basic flying and instrument training.
- Project Airbus Tech (PAT): A320 systems questions and answers, chapter by chapter.
- Making a charger for a Lynx Micro headset: an on the go repair while powered paragliding.
- LED anti collision lights.
- Airbus side stick logic (under development at the time).
