Yeti Move

Yeti Move is a Norwegian technology company that builds software and driver systems for airport vehicles working airside.

The company offers one platform with four products: the Hub, Connect, Driver Assist and Autonomy. Together they take an airport from planning to autonomous operation. They work with vehicles from any maker and in all seasons.

The Hub is a cloud-based platform that links vehicles, people, operations and outside data. It covers digital mission planning, training and simulation, live operational insight, fleet management and coordination. Connect fits any vehicle with a unit that captures position and vehicle data. This gives live tracking and fleet visibility, and it can be added to older vehicles.

Driver Assist guides the operator in the cab. It offers real-time mission guidance, a digital view of the runway and automated equipment control. This reduces the operator's workload, and it can also be retrofitted. Autonomy lets vehicles run missions on their own, with coordinated fleets and real-time supervision by people.

The platform fits many vehicle types. In winter these include snow ploughs, runway sweepers, de-icers, spreaders and snow blowers. In summer they include sweepers, rubber removers, paint trucks and mowers. It also supports airfield vehicles such as follow-me cars, FOD sweepers, inspection and friction testing vehicles, and bird control vehicles. Fuel trucks, catering trucks, push-back tractors and passenger transport are covered too.

Yeti Move also offers retrofitting, so airports can upgrade existing machines without replacing them. Its analytics help airports review mission performance and investigate incidents. The company says it is behind two of the largest commercial autonomy deployments in the market. Frankfurt Airport and Cologne Airport appear in its recent news.
