About Aena

Aena runs airports in Spain. Its website is written for passengers and is available in Spanish and English. The site lists 48 airports in its network, including Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas, Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat, Málaga-Costa del Sol, Palma de Mallorca, Alicante-Elche, Valencia and Sevilla. Airports in the Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands are also listed.

The site helps travelers plan their trip. Passengers can book airport parking by choosing a terminal, dates and times, and they can search for flights. An app lets passengers open airport information on a phone. The Aena Club offers customer registration.

The travel help section covers hand luggage rules, checked baggage, restricted items, electronic devices and lithium batteries, lost property, and left luggage. It also explains customs and VAT refunds, travel documents, immigration and visas, and travel with pets. Separate pages cover travel with babies, minors and pregnant women, and rules for travel between the United Kingdom and Spain.

The Sin Barreras service helps passengers with reduced mobility or a disability before and after a flight. Passengers should request help at least 48 hours before departure. They can book through their travel agent or airline, through the Aena website or app, or by phone. An assistant meets the passenger at a meeting point, helps with check in and security, and stays with the passenger until the boarding gate or the seat. Help is also given on arrival and during connections.

Aena also sells premium passenger services. These include VIP lounges, Meet and Assist, Fast Lane, Fast Track, and a Sala Altitude. Many airports list rest areas, reading areas and work zones. Shops, duty free stores and restaurants are listed under each airport.

The site also has sections for airlines, business opportunities, and shareholders and investors. Its health alerts section gives travel health notices for passengers.
