Sky X Aviation

Sky X Aviation is a full-service FBO at Hammond Northshore Regional Airport (KHDC) in Hammond, Louisiana, serving the greater Gulf region with on-site aircraft maintenance, management, fuelling, charter, acquisition and sales services for private and corporate aviation. The company began by providing mobile maintenance for private and corporate aircraft and, seeing demand for concierge maintenance and flight support, expanded into a new hangar and facilities at Hammond with the mission of becoming the Gulf region's first vertically integrated full-service aviation company. It received the FAA Diamond Award of Excellence in 2024 and is a member of NBAA and the Aircraft Electronics Association.

Team

The leadership team includes Rob, an A&P mechanic with inspection authorisation, commercial pilot, CFI, CFII and MEI with more than 25 years in aviation, a business degree, two decades of management and sales experience, military service and a part-time role as a flight instructor, and Colin, an airframe and powerplant technician with inspection authorisation and more than 23 years of maintenance experience on aircraft from general aviation types to commercial airliners. The company says its staff share a passion for making aviation safer while providing the best customer experience possible.
