About Sky Power

Sky Power GmbH is a German manufacturer that builds engines and propulsion systems for unmanned aircraft and drones. The company develops and produces two stroke petrol engines, heavy fuel engines, Wankel rotary engines, and hybrid systems. All engines are made in Germany.

The product range includes engine series from the SP 28 to the SP 275. It also includes the SP 180, SP 360, and SP 540 Wankel rotary engines. Customers can choose between carburetor or fuel injection systems. Engines are available in petrol and heavy fuel versions. The company also offers hybrid systems and generator applications that produce electrical power.

Sky Power supplies these propulsion systems for unmanned aerial vehicles and drones. The systems support intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions. The engines and hybrid units can be used for various UAV applications and platforms.

The company provides engineering services for the development and optimization of propulsion systems. It also handles integration into UAS airframes. These services include hardware and software development, electronics manufacturing, prototype construction, and series production. Sky Power consults on propulsion integration from initial specifications and component selection through to final assembly.

Sky Power operates engine test benches and offers performance evaluations, exhaust gas analyses, endurance tests, and EMC measurements. Customers can rent these test benches for their own projects. The company also provides scheduled maintenance and repair. After service, each engine receives a final performance test on the test bench to confirm it meets the required parameters.

If an engine fails, the company performs fault analysis and repair. The engine is completely dismantled and examined to find the exact problem. Sky Power also sells spare parts, tool kits, and consumables through its online shop. These items help customers perform basic maintenance tasks on their own.

Sky Power is based in Bad Homburg, Germany. The company has over 40 years of engine experience.
