About DTC

DTC, a Codan Company, makes critical communications equipment. The company says it supports military forces, law enforcement agencies, broadcasters and unmanned operators in more than 165 countries. It has 65 years of experience, including the work of its predecessor businesses.

For unmanned systems, DTC makes SWaP-optimized data links for UAV, UGV and USV platforms. Its BluSDR radios are airborne software defined radios. The MeshUltra MANET waveform is a self-forming, self-healing IP mesh network. It connects sensors, platforms, personnel and command elements, and a BluSDR mesh can reach up to 144 nodes.

DTC equipment is IP68 certified, qualified to MIL-STD-810H and AES-256 hardware encrypted. The equipment carries FIPS 140-3 and NDAA badges. DTC says three BluSDR radios were added to the U.S. Defense Contract Management Agency Blue List Framework in September 2026.

The company serves unmanned, soldier systems, maritime, public safety, commercial and broadcast markets. Its maritime communications resist jamming at sea. Its broadcast links support live coverage for events such as the NFL, the Olympic Games, the Tour de France and the America's Cup. The company calls itself the number one broadcast partner for live sporting events.

Codan Limited was founded in 1959 in Adelaide, Australia. The United Nations chose its HF communications equipment to support humanitarian relief efforts in 1980. The group has acquired Domo Broadcast, Wave Central and Kagwerks, and has integrated Spectronic and Corp10 as operating entities.

DTC has production facilities in the UK, the US and Australia. It has offices in the United States, the UK, Denmark, Dubai, Singapore and Australia. The company says it puts 12% of revenue into research and development. It offers 24/7 global support and fast lead times.

Recent news includes the acquisition of Adaptive Dynamics in May 2026, which adds anti-jamming and interference mitigation. DTC also launched the BluTrak-90-D autonomous tracking antenna, formed a maritime partnership with Trident Research, and was selected for a U.S. Army communications infrastructure contract in June 2026.
