Doodle Labs
Mesh Rider radios for resilient wireless mesh networks
About Doodle Labs
Doodle Labs builds Mesh Rider radios and networks that connect drones, vehicles, sensors and people on one self healing mesh. The network is built to survive jamming and keep missions moving as platforms move across range and terrain.
Mesh Rider is the communications architecture behind the company's radios. It is designed to keep autonomous systems, vehicles, sensors and operators connected as missions move across range, terrain and changing spectrum. The company says its networks scale from single platforms to large fleets.
The radio range includes the Nano2, a full MIMO radio built for drones with tight size, weight and power limits, and the Mini and OEM radios for embedding in platforms. The Wearable radio puts secure voice, video and data in an operator's hands on the same mesh network used by drones and vehicles. The Mesh Rider Dual Radio combines two independent bands in one link.
The Boost amplifier extends the reach of Mesh Rider radios across NATO C, federal, M1 to M6 hex and ISM bands, with 4 W of RF output. Software includes a network management system (NMS) to manage, monitor and optimise networks, along with TacOps and Sense EW.
Solutions cover air, land and sea platforms. Sectors include defence, commercial and public safety. The company says it delivers one network for video, voice, telemetry, sensor and command and control data, with frequency agility and self healing links.
Doodle Labs was established in 2008 as a spin out from smartBridges, which its co founder launched in 1999, to serve OEM customers. Its Mesh Rider Radio platform launched in 2018, and a Wearable Mesh Rider followed in 2024. The company has offices in Austin, Texas and Singapore.
