Aeroprobe
Air data and flow measurement systems, designed and made in the USA
About Aeroprobe
Aeroprobe produces air data and flow measurement systems for the aerospace, automotive, turbomachinery and energy industries. The company says it has been a trusted partner to designers, engineers, researchers and pilots since 1993. Aeroprobe designs and manufactures its products in the USA.
Its flight systems serve uncrewed aerial vehicles and other autonomous platforms. The multi-function air data probes measure airspeed, angle of attack, altitude and temperature. Its micro air data computers process flight data in a compact package. The company says it focuses on small size, weight and power, and that these systems give real time data for research and flight testing.
The flight range also includes weatherized pitot-static probes and a total air temperature probe. The website says the products are qualified to meet MIL-STD and DO standards. Micro air data computers are offered with what the company calls best-in-class SWAP-C performance.
For test and research customers, Aeroprobe builds flow measurement instruments to each customer's requirements. Its measurement products include multi-hole probes and rakes, OmniProbes, Kiel probes and aerodynamic probe calibration. Its AeroFlow software handles data processing and analysis. The company says its work uses advanced engineering analysis, design and hybrid manufacturing.
Its extensive line of probes can perform in unusual and complex testing scenarios, including unsteady flows and extreme temperatures. Aeroprobe also operates on-site calibration wind tunnels. They cover speeds from near-hover to supersonic. The website says design choices are data driven and that reliable data needs carefully designed instrumentation.
Aeroprobe maintains ISO 9001:2015 certification. Recent news includes a PHASA-35 flight that used its micro air data system and a visit from a congressman to the company. The company's CEO also joined a regional council.
Aeroprobe exhibits at AIAA SciTech 2027 in Orlando, XPONENTIAL Europe 2027 in Dusseldorf and XPONENTIAL 2027 in Miami. It also has a LinkedIn page and a YouTube channel with product videos.
