ShockBox Test Equipment, LLC

Shockbox Test Equipment, LLC makes test equipment for aircraft maintenance. Its products are rugged test boxes for repair stations and charter operators. The company says the aim is to cut aircraft on ground time and maintenance costs.

The site says the team is made up of certified A and P and IA mechanics with over 50 years of experience together. The company began by building test equipment for its own FAA certified repair station, E.T. Mechanical, LLC. Over time it saw a chance to support other repair shops around the world. Its sister business Air Centre, LLC sells aircraft parts and pilot supplies.

The product range has three main groups. These are capacitance test boxes, landing gear breakout boxes and aircraft specific test boxes. The main items include the EBA, a computer managed battery analyzer for emergency power supplies, and the Complete EBACS, which adds a dedicated PC and charger. The BFG test box is a manual unit for capacitance tests on PS-835, PS-850 and PS-855 power supplies. The landing gear breakout box is a universal troubleshooting and rigging tool that works with a harness for each aircraft model. Other products cover the Beech 390 Premier, such as flap control, fuel probe and fuel calibration test boxes.

The company also offers small scale manufacturing of custom designs. All equipment has a five year warranty against manufacturing defects. Orders ship by UPS and FedEx at home and abroad, and by DHL abroad on request. The site has a contact form and a phone number, (405) 495-2807.
