About AIRR Engineering

AIRR Engineering makes test equipment for aircraft air data systems. It is based in Aubrey, Texas. The company says it began when people with field experience wanted to make pitot static testing faster and easier.

Its products include digital air data test sets, from manual units to automated RVSM units with AOA three channel testing. It also makes pitot adapters and static adapters, including ones for Cirrus aircraft and the Piper Blade. Other products are leak test manifolds, an outflow valve and oxygen mask drop tester, and a master sight compass.

Some items are designed to save time. Cam operated pitot adapters seal quickly, and SmartProbe adapters use a manifold and hose system to cut test time. The universal static adapter has a powered vacuum pump that holds it in place, even over paint lines. A Pitot Saver alarm warns when pitot heat is on, to help avoid burned probes.

The company also runs a calibration and repair facility. It says its technicians keep the test equipment used for FAR annual certification calibrated, and that it supports products from other makers too.

The website has a product list and a contact form. The shipping address is 6023 New Hope Road in Aubrey, and the phone number is 214 217 7600.
