Plane Place Aviation

Plane Place Aviation is a founder-led FAA Part 145 repair station at Cleburne Regional Airport (KCPT) in Cleburne, Texas, 30 minutes south of Dallas Fort Worth, that works exclusively on Hawker, Citation and Challenger business jets. Founded in 2022 by Tristan Noe, director of maintenance, and Travis Roberson, vice president of maintenance, two veterans of MRO floors and charter operator maintenance departments, the company set out to build a shop where operators feel confident handing over their aircraft and where technicians want to work; both founders are still on the hangar floor. Its motto is precise, professional, attentive.

Facilities and approvals

• 80,000 square feet of hangar space across four hangars at Cleburne Regional Airport, with lower operating costs than Love Field or Addison and comfortable lounge and office space for visiting crews
• FAA Part 145 authorisation for airframe maintenance, inspection, repair and alteration on Hawker 800, 800XP, 850XP, 900XP and 1000, Citation 550, 560, 560XL, 560XLS, 650 and 680, and Challenger 300, 350, 604, 605 and 650 aircraft, plus authorisation to maintain Mexican-registered aircraft
• A mobile AOG team covering Texas and Oklahoma with parts, tooling and type specialists on a 24-hour phone line

Services

• Scheduled and heavy maintenance including phase and document checks, 12 to 192-month inspections, B through G, 4-year and 8-year inspections and AD and SB compliance, with the work scope and timeline agreed upfront and audit-ready documentation
• Pre-purchase inspections covering airframe, powerplant, logbooks, AD and SB status, with a photo report and estimated correction costs
• FAA-approved structural repairs and modifications from corrosion treatment to major repairs, avionics work and maintenance management

Team

The team includes accountable manager Ron Larson, sales manager Ron Reiling, Hawker lead Angel Zamora, Citation lead Chris Zamora, Challenger lead Dalton Friesenhahn and Hawker service adviser James Noe, with every tool, procedure and technician's experience focused on the same three airframe families.
