Paxia, Inc.
Cloud system of record for airline catering in the United States
About Paxia
Paxia, Inc. makes Paxia Cloud, an AI-enabled system of record for airline catering operations, from the United States. The platform brings specifications, schedules, galley planning and loading, orders, invoices, inventory and operational insight into one system.
Paxia Cloud has seven modules. Specifications define and manage onboard specs. Schedules assign services to individual flights. Galleys plan and load galleys to reduce waste. Orders cover the full meal order lifecycle. Invoices check orders and reconcile spend. Assets forecast, plan and restock inventory. Insights give AI-powered dashboards and decision support.
The modules connect from end to end. A change in a flight schedule flows through galley planning, ordering and invoicing automatically. The company says airlines such as Delta, British Airways and Cathay Pacific run their catering operations this way. Paxia aims to help airlines move away from spreadsheets, silos and older systems.
Paxia AI has three pillars. Operational Intelligence offers forecasting and cost analytics built on a large aviation catering dataset. Generative AI is built into the platform to cut manual effort and catch errors before they reach the operation. Intelligent Assistants are agents that know the Paxia domain and help users work faster. Together they support galley planning, load forecasting and spend modeling.
The company says its aim is to reduce waste, lower costs and improve service. It helps airlines optimize catering loads, reduce over-catering, automate ordering and improve invoice accuracy.
Paxia has more than 25 years of experience in catering operations. Its roots go back to 2000, when Gate Gourmet founded e-gatematrix and worked with Delta. The company bought CAlibre, a galley planning tool that began at British Airways, in 2004. It became eGate Solutions in 2006 and joined gategroup in 2008. In 2019, TELEO Capital carved it out of gategroup and renamed it Paxia. Assets and Insights joined the platform in 2023, and Paxia Cloud and the AI base followed in 2024. In 2025, an aerospace-focused private equity firm, Liberty Hall Capital Partners, bought the company.
Paxia offers support around the clock, 365 days a year, through a global team.
