Immfly

Immfly provides digital onboard solutions for airlines. It is headquartered in Barcelona, Spain, and was founded in 2013. The company says it serves over 50 airlines across Europe, Latin America, North America and Asia Pacific. It has offices in several countries and more than 150 employees from many nationalities.

The connectivity service uses a lightweight, low drag antenna, under 30 kg, that can fit on any aircraft type. The company says installation takes 24 hours or less. Its connection has low latency, under 100 milliseconds, and covers primary flight routes. The system works with KU or KA spectrum satellite services in LEO, GEO or MEO orbits.

The retail service lets airlines sell products before departure, during the flight and after arrival. Options include pre-order, in-seat ordering and a marketplace. Crews use an electronic point of sale, and airlines get reporting and back office tools. The company also offers AI payment processing that aims to reduce card declines.

The entertainment service includes an interface that can be customized to each airline's brand. The content library includes recent Hollywood releases and family films. Retail is built into the entertainment system to add onboard sales.

The operational savings service covers ACARS over IP, live payments for onboard retail, and electronic flight bag integration. The company says the flight bag data gives crews real time information to optimize flight paths and fuel burn.

The website lists several airline partners and case studies. One case study says TUI increased passenger engagement by 27 percent with the Equilux platform. Other partners include Iberia Express and Level. Immfly and Volotea are launching a high speed LEO connectivity trial, and Immfly, Wizz Air and gateretail have launched an integrated digital cabin ecosystem.

The company says its technology is installed on more than 2,800 aircraft and reaches over 400 million passengers each year. It says it has more than 10 years of industry expertise.
