OSAC

OSAC (Organisme pour la Securite de l'Aviation Civile) is a French aviation safety oversight body and a subsidiary of the Apave group. Authorised by ministerial decree, it carries out expertise, instruction, inspection and verification missions and issues documents relating to airworthiness, acting as part of the French civil aviation authority, by delegation, or as a subcontractor of the Direction Generale de l'Aviation Civile (DGAC). As part of the Authority, OSAC issues, suspends and withdraws approvals from aviation organisations.
