Avidyne Corporation designs and builds integrated avionics for general aviation, business aviation, helicopters and advanced air mobility. Founded in 1994 by pilot and entrepreneur Dan Schwinn, the company is headquartered in Melbourne, Florida, with further locations in Concord, Massachusetts and Dublin, Ohio. Cirrus

Avidyne's Entegra integrated flight deck was fitted to Cirrus aircraft from the factory, and the company says the Entegra products "were a significant contributor to the success of Cirrus and several other aircraft manufacturers". For owners of Entegra equipped SR20 and SR22 aircraft, Avidyne now sells the Vantage 12, which it describes as "the most cost-effective and straightforward path for Entegra-equipped Cirrus owners and operators to upgrade into a highly capable, modern glass cockpit": dual 12 inch touch screen displays with synthetic vision, a hybrid touch interface and dual AHRS reversion, with the DFC90 autopilot and IFD navigators as companion upgrades. Software release 12.1 adds more navigator and autopilot options for the Cirrus installation.
